How Did We Get Here?

From Exodus 1:1-7. As we begin a new sermon series, the first verses of the book of Exodus help us understand that this isn’t the beginning of the story, but rather there is a great story already underway. God is at work to deliver His people from hardship, suffering, arrogant kings, and false gods. Through this story, God is shaping the people of Israel, shaping the scriptures, and shaping each one of us.
