From Ezekiel 37:24-28; Luke 22:19-20. It would be God’s desire that we would be constantly reminded and renewed that our only hope is in Christ. We deserve nothing from Him yet we remember that He has given us everything. We see several covenants (and their signs) instigated by God that God uses to establish His relationship with us, His people.
