Episode 16: Gospel-Centered Community

May 26, 2016 by: Andy Dukes

Community is a buzz-word and cliche in church circles.
Yet, community is something God created us for and something we need for Christian maturity and fruitfulness. So, we need to seek the nature of gospel community, the need for gospel community and ways to invest in a gospel community.

This summer presents a great opportunity for us all. Redeemer will gather on Wednesday evenings to learn about, pray for, discuss and pursue community shaped around the gospel of Jesus. Our goal is encouraging and equipping Redeemer Church to become a more joyful, humble, honest, grace-filled, missional community - bearing fruit in the name of Jesus.

We will utilize a resource called The Gospel-Centered Community by Bob Thune and Will Walker. Each session will include a short time of teaching, a conversation of two short articles in the workbook and application of the study’s principles. Please make plans to join us for this study!
